Want Not

I heard an interesting point made the other day. In English we would exclaim, “I do not want”, while in many other languages they would say, “I want not”. There is a significant difference. The first one describes the desire to not want, while the second is a powerful wanting to have something; nothing. See the difference?

Think about it the next time you say “I don’t want that”.

  1. Or, as Danielle Wiess would say: “THAT is a Petunia. And I don’t want it.”
