Japan Days – June 9

Today we went a Sunday morning craft market – I bought the most tender chair stamp!  We then stumbled upon a kaleidoscope museum.  It looked a bit cheesy at first, but turned out to be one of the highlights of the whole trip for me!  It was just a small room filled with a selection of various hand-made kaleidoscopes.  They came in all different shapes and sizes and were simply stunning!  I had forgotten how incredibly beautiful kaleidoscopes are and how lost you can get in them!  It was raining that evening so we then decided to hit up a movie.  We selected Woody Allen’s “To Rome with Love” from the available English movie options.  Unfortunately, 50% of the movie was in Italian so we spent half the time not understanding the Italian audio with Japanese subtitles!  Hahaha!  But at least the popcorn was good!
